Bill and Katie SebastianThe year was 1946. Bill and Katey Sebastian scraped up their courage and their last dollar, and bought an opportunity in the form of Kerman Telephone Co.

Three generations and three locations later that small telephone company has turned into Sebastian, a premier provider of integrated technology services.

Founder’s Day – Exactly 68 Years Later

On June 20, 2014, Sebastian celebrated its 68th anniversary by inviting the entire city of Kerman to its annual Founder’s Day celebration.

Sebastian employees barbecued 1,200 hot dogs for the hungry crowd. The kids enjoyed face painting, bounce houses and snow cones while the Mellow Tones provided the perfect soundtrack the for the day.

The warm temperature definitely didn’t get in the way of everyone having a great time.

Sebastian wouldn’t be where it is today without the support of the community. Founder’s Day provides the employees an opportunity to get out in to the community and say “thank you” for years of support. It is a true privilege to live and work within the community we serve.

There will be a second Founder’s Day celebration at our Foresthill location on June 27.

Thank you for 68 wonderful years and here’s to 68 more!
