Time-Honored Tradition Returns to Kerman for Another Year

Posted on July 1, 2013

Founded in 1946 as Kerman Telephone in Kerman, CA, Sebastian continues to keep the tradition of Founder’s Day alive by providing a free BBQ lunch for over 1,000 community members with live music, clowns, face-painting, shaved ice and bounce houses.

The event is organized and run by Sebastian employees as a thank you to our customers in and around Kerman. The event is open to the public and is filled with free fun for families and friends.

“At Sebastian, Founder’s Day is one of our favorite days of the year,” Brandon Dukes, general manager of Sebastian. “It’s a day when our staff not only can mingle with the individuals and families of Kerman, but it provides the opportunity to thank them for allowing us to be part of their community for 76 years.”
