March 20th, 2020
The situation with the COVID-19 coronavirus is evolving rapidly. Most recently, the City of Fresno issued guidance asking for all residents engaged in non-essential activities to “shelter in place” in their home. This may already be affecting you, depending on your industry.
How Will This Impact Your Services?
Certain essential services – including the maintenance of IT infrastructure – are exempted from the “shelter in place” guidelines, and our team can solve most issues remotely. If you need on-site assistance, we are asking our employees to take precautions such as maintaining “social distancing” (leaving at least six feet of space between individuals), frequent hand washing and sanitation, etc. We have seen an increase in the volume of requests from our customers (asking to relocate employees or set them up to work from home), so we ask for your patience as we work to resolve them as quickly as possible.
Our alarm monitoring services will remain functional 24/7 as usual. Alongside these services, our technicians are readily available for any troubleshooting or installations as necessary. If you have a specific question regarding our available services, please contact your account manager. Our goal is to continue to keep you connected and protected during this trying time.
Since the situation is rapidly evolving, we will keep you informed of any changes that may impact our ability to provide services.
How Can Sebastian Help?
If your employees need to work remotely due to COVID-19 precautions, we can help! Contact your account manager, and our technical experts can help to find a solution that works for you.

Future Projects and New Equipment
Because many manufacturing and supply chains are shut down or otherwise disrupted, it may become difficult to procure new computers and other IT equipment in the coming weeks and months. If you have any new hires on the horizon or other IT purchases in mind that we’re not aware of, please let us know so we can have plenty of lead time to order the equipment.
Be Aware of COVID-19 Phishing Scams
